Your Brain on Art

neurographic art - lines in black ink making an abstract design

What happens in your brain when you create—or even simply look at—art? In this illuminating and inspiring workshop, we’ll explore the fascinating intersection of neuroscience, creativity, and self-expression. Blending science with soul, you’ll discover how engaging with art impacts brain function, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing. Through hands-on creative exploration and guided insight, we’ll dive into the basics of neuroaesthetics—how your brain responds to beauty, color, shape, and movement as well as why art-making supports emotional processing, clarity, and nervous system regulation.
